ONE BIG DAY. ONE BIG THANKS. ONE BIG EVENT.
Big Event is a student-led service opportunity held every fall by the Big Event student organization at UCO. The mission of Big Event is simply One Big Day. One Big Thanks. One Big Event.

On this day each year, UCO students head out into the community to say thank you to community agencies, non-profit partners, local residents, housing and homeowners associations, and local business through service. Students can clean up trash, do yard work, paint, garden and various other light labor activities inside or outside. Big Event averages 500+ students and 50+ service sites each spring.

This form is for anyone interested in signing up to be a Big Event Site for our event on Saturday, April 5, 2025. As a site, you should expect volunteers to be on your site and have active service opportunities from 10:00am-2:00pm.

Once you fill out this form, a member from the Big Event Team will contact you to set up a time for a site visit to perform a safety check, go over required waivers, and to deliver you more information about being a Big Event site. During a site visit, all areas where service work will be performed must be shown to our committee, all plans for projects should be prepared to be discussed, and a list of tools needed will be required.

All site hosts will also be required to attend one mandatory, 30 minute, virtual Site Orientation.  All dates and times will be sent to you when you in early March.

Site registration will close on Friday, Febuary 28th at 5:00pm.
